Barnesville High School is an overall good school. The teachers are passionate and the student body is close knit. Having grown up here, I am surely biased, but I have attended other schools across the country and this is the one I have gotten to know the best. While the school is not home to a very diverse group of people or opinions, it is slowly getting better as the town grows bigger and brings in new people.

Barnesville Secondary School is a very close community and cares about each other and student success.

My school is exuberant and filled with happy students. Even though my school is small, there are many opportunities to join classes, clubs, the arts, and sports. However, the participation of the arts is poor. The school has more students participating in sports than in the music, theater, and visual arts program.

I have heard that there are recent Bully issues that the school refuses to address! I graduated from the school and they are not a "proactive" learning environment. If I lived in the area, my children would not attend school here.
