I am a senior at this school but to me this school severely lacks any real joy at anything. The classes we have rarely teach us and expect us to turn in assignments on time but barely give us any explanation to them. I've had 2 teachers in my last 2 years of being at this school actually helping me in the classes we have the rest of them just depend on the computer. I do like their dances they have but the food itself is revolting.

From my experience, being in AP classes, Barstow High School is a decent school. You can tell most teachers enjoy their jobs and try their hardest to continue teaching, even when students are not listening. Overall, I wish there would be more enforcement in rules as there is a lot of frequent misbehaving around campus, plenty of fights, and a lot of disrespectful students.

Barstow High school has the best principal around. I was afraid to send my child to high school because of bullies and I feel great that there was no problem. Honestly this school isn't that great. There are some good teachers that care that their students graduate, but a majority mainly those with tenor could care less and simply be happy getting paid.
