The diversity at Basehor-Linwood lacked. All other aspects were exceptional. The culture at Basehor-Linwood was my favorite aspect of the school and district.

One thing that I really enjoyed about going to Basehor Linwood is how involved I was with the school. Everywhere I went, it seemed like everyone knew who I was and checked up on me. To me, the little things in life matter the most. I loved how friendly and concerning the staff was, and that they were actually interested in me as a student. Another thing that I like is being able to hold everyone accountable for getting work done as well.

I am in the summer between my Junior and Senior year at Basehor-Linwood High School. Over the years, I've seen how great this school is at providing opportunities for a large variety of courses for all students to take. With the CTE building being built before my freshman year, a lot of new classes were added that enrich the learning experience. However, my only issue with the school is its disconnect between the students and the school environment. I went to Bonner Springs High School for a semester in my freshman year and their connection is fabulous, making me feel at home and welcome. However, at Basehor, I don't feel the same way. The administrators have a hard time relating to the kids and being able to take a step down to look students in the eye. I feel like if they would promote more activities that involve things students are more interested in and stop looking at the students as numbers, they'd get a lot further with student connectivity.

10 out of 10 I love this school! I am doing great in this school and the teachers will help you whenever if you ask and they have a new CTE area for the career, technical, and engineering. They also have different career paths and graduation paths for your benefits. You can also start taking college...

Basehor Lindwood High School is part of an excellent community. It is an excellent mid-sized school with a lot of school spirit. My daughter graduated last year and is now at the University of Missouri. Could Basehor challenge some of its students a bit more academically? Sure, but the positives mor...
