Bastrop middle school is a JOKE. The principal and leadership are all high school gossips who pit teachers against each other. Nepotism runs high here. We moved from San Antonio and my son went through BMS for both 7th and 8th grade. He had amazing teachers and took all Pre-AP classes. friendly staff however the hanging out between the cafeteria and the school should be enclosed at the middle school. Its to dangerous with all the violence in schools these days to have it open like that with all the children just hangin out . Yes its supervised but the one day i had to go up there...
