Cobre High School has truly been good to me the last three years, but it is a little rough around the edges. The building is very old. Most of the teachers are very kind and I learn many things from them. The school board isn't the best and makes poor decisions in my opinion. I feel like the board doesn't truly know who we are as students and what it is we really need (like better lunch). I am happy to say there is little to no bullying that I have encountered or seen. There are good students with lots of potential. But our staff has been a revolving door lately. It would be nice to keep around familiar faces.

It is a decent school, but it is in a small rural area, where athletes or any other clubs don't have many opportunities. Colleges don't really go and scout our players. There is also not many opportunities to prepare for your future like internships or other things.

My experience at Cobre High school was average just like any other high school. It's is stereotyped to be for all the bad kids who are in gangs and what not. But this is not true at all. I believe Cobre is very accepting compared to other schools.
