GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Cobre High School has truly been good to me the last three years, but it is a little rough around the edges. The building is very old. Most of the teachers are very kind and I learn many things from them. The school board isn't the best and makes poor decisions in my opinion. I feel like the board doesn't truly know who we are as students and what it is we really need (like better lunch). I am happy to say there is little to no bullying that I have encountered or seen. There are good students with lots of potential. But our staff has been a revolving door lately. It would be nice to keep around familiar faces.

The best part of my high school experience at Cobre High School was being able to participate in multiple sports. They offered multiple sports year round that any student could be apart of. My worst experience is with the teachers. Some of them have lost the love for teaching and take it out on the students. They do not properly prepare students for life after high school.

What I like at Cobre High school is they offer college classes and other activities. One thing I like to see change is adding more clubs and see kids participate more.
