Yeshiva Gedolah of Bayonne is a private, all-boys high school that houses roughly 70 students who typically dorm on campus. Classes are taught in both English and Yiddish, and the school is reserved for serious students who are committed to learning the traditions of the Orthodox Jewish faith. The school was established in 1990 and has been run by a series of well-respected rabbis from around North America ever since. Yeshiva Gedolah of Bayonne is a proud member of the National Society of Hebrew Day schools, also known as Torah Umesorah. The school is best known for its contributions to the book series entitled Pathway to Prayer, which was written by one of the school’s leaders, Rabbi Mayer Birnbaum.
