GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience with BGHS includes not only going to school there but also finding my family withing this wonderful school. Whether it be the teachers or my fellow peers, all of the people in BGHS are very willing to help and lend a hand to one another.

I liked Beech Grove High School because it was such a small school so you would be able to learn much better and get more one-on-one time with teachers. I feel that they could do better by doing more community service.

I've had good experiences with all the teachers. They used to have something called Isucceed where students could go and receive extra help from one of their teachers, or retake a test. But now because of Covid they had to take it away. I hope they bring it back for future classes. They also have after school tutoring and offer buses to take students home in the afternoon. All the students are fairly nice. They have 3 choices for lunch and sell different type of drinks or snacks. I like it so far.

The school only cares about what benefits them, like for example drug test they drug test students short noticed and saying no results in punishment. As well as them not caring about the weather, it’ll be -1 in the morning while the students have to wait at the bus stop, with no delay or e-learning?...
