GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Beecher City Junior/Senior High School is a very small, rural community school in the middle of nowhere. While the area struggles to keep up with the times, our school has implemented many updates, new programs and courses, and internet capabilities. There aren't many sports or clubs, but I enjoy the ones offered. Overall, I think I have received an adequate high school education that will have me ready for my college life and future career.

The atmosphere of the school is amazing. The teachers help you when you need it and work with you. I been at this school since i was young.

I liked how BCHS was so small that I knew everyone from Freshmen to Senior year. It was amazing how close everyone could get if they tried.

SAT scores are low and students are unprepared for college to say the least. Bullying causes such difficulty some kids ne...

The math cirriculum is the only subject up to par with the rest of the UA in terms of preparing the students for college. The administration is lazy and unwilling to better any aspect about the school. There is no supervision of teachers by the administration so the teachers (with exception of the m...
