This school completely coasts by on its reputation from years gone by. At one time, it was a great school, but it hasn't been in some time. I myself went to Herndon and now my daughter goes there. This school is a family and sets a great foundation for their highschool/college years. Mr. Thomas is an amazing principal as well, he knows every single kids name and makes them feel special!

Teachers bully students, students bully students. Everyone bullies everyone. If you are not popular, White, Christian or have money, you are no one and you are a target for bullying. I would rate our experience at this school 3/5. We transferred here from the top elementary magnet school in the parish for middle school.
