My experience with my high school has been overall extremely well. I have made life long connections and relationships. The best part has to be the sport activities and people. Mostly all the teachers and helpful and supportive. The worst part has to be the food and the time out of class for the 7 mindsets. Overall Belle Vernon has helped me grow into the person that I am today.

The most "stereotypical" high school imaginable. If you weren't part of the popular crowd (played sports, were well-off, or took part in drama/theater), you were an outcast. It always felt a little "cliquey." People would be friendly with you, but it'd be near impossible to break into their friend group. What shocked me was the true lack of diversity of the place. Some 90% of the school is white, with other races making up only the last 10%. At least most of the teachers there were very chill and cool.

I graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School in 2015, and I would consider myself fortunate to have gone there. The teachers were always kind and helpful to me, and I was able to strive for good grades along with my peers. All in all I think Belle Vernon Area High School is a great school to attend.
