Carlmont knows how to create a good sense of community within the school. There are many sports, clubs, and activities that are available to students. The teachers at Carlmont are kind and understanding and create a safe space in their classrooms.

As a African American young lady at an predominantly white school, i get bullied alot for who i am as a person and what i look like. but i never give up on my dreams going to college and working hard to become a black women in the STEM field

Having attended Carlmont High School myself I find many of this school's teachers to have the wrong approach to learning. Nearly all classes are based around memorizing and busywork, close to zero focus is placed on developing useful life skills other than in math and science classes. I personally f...

The teachers and staff at the school target kids with low income, teachers gossip about how bad students do.Only about two teachers are actually good teachers.
