GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think summit is the perfect middle ground high school experience. There isn't anything to me that makes summit "extraordinary" about the school itself or the building, I mean the locks on half of the bathrooms are broken and little to none of the sinks work. But the people I've met through summit and the teachers that I have had the honor of learning from are something I will never forget.

the best part are the variety of extracurriculars available and the students who are passionate. the worst part are the few teachers who don't seem to really care about students' learning, but there are more teachers who do care than don't

I came from a small catholic school when I was in grade school and middle school and when I started at Summit it was at the height of Covid. We were doing online classes and and after a few months half of us go to school for 2 days and the other half goes the other 2 days. I did not get overwhelmed by the size of the school as I came gradually because of the Covid restriction. It was a good starting point and after we get back fulltime, I was getting to know my classmates and gaining a lot of froends. I like the teachers extra effort of helping the students when we needed some help. This makes us special and important. One thing, I did not like is when the school closed all the bathrooms because some students are using it to smoke. I feel like they are punishing everyone with few small amount of students who are at fault. I dont think there would be any changes that I would like to see. My overall experience at Summit so far was happy and exciting.

I went here for a short but wonderful 1 1/2 years, left second semester of my sophomore year and I just say, it's a lovely school. The staff is amazing but it does depend on what you look for in staff members, as they're not strict and act like high schoolers themselves while still being kind and he...

This school is a reflection of what is wrong with American society. The level of entitlement and narcissism is unbelievable. The students are spoiled and are entitled to everything and they love to put others beneath them. The staff is lazy and rude, and they don't actually care about the students....

This school is terrible from stuck up kids, to bullying this school cares more about athletics than academics. Worse experience in schooling ever!
