Bennington High School is a small-town school where everyone feels like they're your family. The school itself could use some updating but overall isn't the worst. Few teachers are there solely for the paycheck and not to actually teach. Most teachers care about you as an individual and your success.

The size of school is great, makes it easier for teachers to give one-on-one time to the students. The teachers and staff create a very positive environment for the students. On downfall is, for some reason, sports are seen as more important than academics and the fine arts. Which just isn't too cool.

They have a pretty well thought out plan for the students safety. Although it is a rural school, so metal dectators are not needed.

It was an absolutely horrible experience. They conducted themselves very unprofessionally and they discriminate when children have special learning needs. Not pleased at all.

There have been some changes happening in the school as far as personnel and employee relations the last two years that are not beneficial in any way to making it anything but a hostile working environment. I believe there should be some changes made as far as the board and superintendent are concer...
