Overall this school has its bad but also good attributes. If you would base it off of sports then that would be a bad attribute about this school because Berea high is not a school you would want to go if you want to be somewhere because of sports. Now this school does have a lot of student involvement and also have a lot of school spirit. The teachers here are nice to a certain extent but although some teachers aren't really that great at the "teaching" attribute.

I like that some of the teachers were very involved in their student's life and try to help them succeed.

The teachers are the best part about the school, however, they keep getting rid of the good ones and bringing new ones in so I doubt that will be the case for much longer. The food in the cafeteria is mediocre and sometimes the burgers look pink still. Overall my freshman and sophomore years were the best because once junior year hit they took away smart lunch and then everything went downhill. We used to have tons of clubs and fun things to get involved in but that also went away a lot after SMART lunch was taken away. So I am giving it 3 stars because it started out great but had a bad ending.

Graduated from here, nothing good to say about the place. Go to Wade Hampton High instead, it's a far better school.

Our family has been SO PLEASED to get to know many of the AWESOME teachers and staff at Berea! Our 9th grader had attended private school previously, and we weren't sure what to expect. What we have found is a TREASURE. There is a bounty of caring, professional, and motivated staffers at this school...
