GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Over all I greatly enjoyed my experience at Beresford. It has a great small town feel, and everyone in each class is so tightly knit. That being said, the academics were not very challenging. For students such as myself who needed some more advanced classes we usually had to spend around $500 for an online college class instead. There simply wasn't much to offer for students who wanted to gain more out of their high school academics.

I think a change that needs to be made is administration. The administration wasn't grounded and it caused other teachers to leave I think.

The teacher-student environment is not healthy. There are many bullies, and the school isn't doing anything about it. The one's who do get bullied, often do online school to get anyway from everything.

My school provides students with opportunities and looks out for them and keeps us informed about our kids.

This community is very very closed, unless your the right family, hard to get help for your kids. Bullies a issue here that the school refuses to address.
