I personally didn't have an issue with it mainly because I didn't go for the arts and was one of the better athletes so most teachers and office staff knows me and helped when I need it. It had an overall family feel. Parents showed great support. I had an overall positive experience

I love Bessemer Academy. And so does my son. Its a great learning environment. My son plays football and runs track.

The family feel makes everybody feel comfortable and close. My daughter has been there her whole life and she feels like it is home.

Football is the school’s primary focus. It is not about what this school can do for your child but what your child can do for the school. If you are more concerned about academics, then you may want to look somewhere else.

Bessemer Academy is a well rounded PK- 12th grade private school that focuses on Christian values, academics, safety, and extracurricular activities. There is always an ambition to grow and make improvements within the school.
