We've had a daughter go through the Big Lake schools and had a fantastic experience. They genuinely cared about her, and pushed her to excel in her academics. She got good exposure to music and art as well. They are pretty technology-forward, even without a 1:1 program.

As a product of Big Lake schools myself, I can say that a lot has changed for the better, but overall, improvement is still an outstanding issue across the board. I believe curriculum is becoming an increased focus (especially math) and my son has seen an improvement with test scores. However, I fee...
