GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of going to Bigfork high school is knowing each and every one of my classmates. I feel comfortable going to my peers for help and find the community very welcoming and safe. The worst part is the lack of exposure. We as students feel very ill equipped for college and do not know our options leaving high school. I suggest that our school introduce us to more career paths and colleges.

Bigfork High school is a mess. They try to limit everything students do. We have a 30 minute between lunch and 5th period that no one likes. Staff choose favorites and tear down those who aren't the favorites. Attending school here has been draining and miserable. The school board is horrendous and the rules are so unfair. The dress code only applies to some students. I do NOT recommend Bigfork High School.

I do see a lot of diversity and helpful resources regarding college applications and job applications but I do think those areas could use some improvement. I think that there should be more teachers helping with the college application process and that there should be more announcements regarding these things. I think also that there should be more changes for jobs too. I know a lot of students struggle to find jobs and I think that there should be more assistance in those areas.

Quite literally the most racist and homophobic school I’ve ever been to, a student threatened to drag a trans male around the school on a leash, the teachers do absolutely nothing about it, insane amount of bullying. It’s absolutely disgusting, if I could I’d give it zero stars. Do not take your chi...
