The Arlington School is a private school for seventh through 12th grades that is conveniently located in Birmingham’s popular Highland Park neighborhood. The school was founded in 1999 by Debbie Petitto, who had previously run a school serving inpatient students at Birmingham’s Montclair Baptist Hospital. The Arlington School’s small class sizes and individualized education set the school apart from the rest.
The Arlington School usually has around five students per grade. The school follows Alabama high school curriculum requirements, and students earn a high school diploma upon graduating from The Arlington School.
