Highlands is a magical place where children develop a love of learning in an environment that is as supportive and accepting as it is academically rigorous. We are thrilled to be a part of the this community!

My daughter attended Highlands from the 5th grade to the 8th grade. She didn't have any friends of color and they didn't do an excellent job of handling issues like bullying. However, they provide a significant scholarship and the academic part is excellent.

It is an outstanding school with phenomenal academics! The faculty and staff are very caring, and it is evident that they want to develop the whole child. Critical thinking skills and communication skills are developed.

Highlands is an excellent school with caring teachers. Students receive plenty of one on one attention. The library is beautiful and well-stocked.

The best school in Birmingham. Small class sizes, individualized attention, strong emphasis on academics and well-rounded curriculum. Very supportive parents. Great afterschool program with lots of activities as well.
