We chose Highlands School largely because of their emphasis on the ‘whole child’, i.e. on rigorous academics but also time and space for kids to be kids, try new things, make mistakes and learn from them, etc. We also liked the diversity of the student body. It is an outstanding school with phenomenal academics! The faculty and staff are very caring, and it is evident that they want to develop the whole child. Critical thinking skills and communication skills are developed.
