There was a lot of animosity among students at my school, with many people projecting fake personas to be someone they were not. This often led to verbal and even physical altercations. While the chaos could be entertaining at times, there was always an underlying sense that the environment was unhealthy and needed change. Despite this, I still managed to form close friendships and create bonds that feel like they'll last a lifetime.

At first, I did not think Huffman High would be the school for me. In due time, I was proven wrong. I got inducted into National Honors Society, I became a Huffman Senior Ambassador, and I have been in UAB Upward Bound since I was a freshman at Huffman High. I also graduated early from Huffman High in December 2024. I will walk across the stage May 21st 2025 with my class to receive my diploma. Huffman turned out to be a school that I love. In life, we make our experiences what we want them to be. Huffman grew on me a lot. And I am proud to be a future alumni of Huffman High School. Huffman has been viewed as a bad school from people looking from the outside in. For a while, I did agree with them. Truth is, Huffman is not a bad school at all. Students have given us a bad reputation in the past due to them not leaving whatever goes on in our school private. Instead, they record, make post, and upload it all to the internet. Some students inform parents before the school got a chance to.

Honestly my school Huffman High School has gotten very much better in my senior year. Grades have been better. There is more involvement in extra curriculums such as, Jrotc, choir, band, cosmetology, theatre, construction and even arts. I would love to see better help with the administration and safety. But other than that go Vikings .

These numbers are shameful and a community that produces such, should be embarrassed. These numbers are a product of a failing society and a degenerate culture, in the black community.. everyone who is apart of this has failed…
