The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

This is a very small school with fairly limited opportunities. In some ways the small class sizes were beneficial- with the right teacher students are able to get more one-on-one assistance when needed. Another benefit of a small school is that students who want to participate in sports and extra-curricular activities are never excluded. The foreign language options were always severely dismal in my years at Triangle Lake- the curriculum was outdated and teachers would come and go every couple of years; I passed the Spanish 2 class without the ability to maintain a two minute conversation.

Our children are thriving at this school and have been for 7 years. They have been fully supported to achieve and excel in advanced coursework and their teachers are invested in them.
