My experience at Blackhawk High School was very good. I participated in many offered activities. There are many academic, sports, music, service opportunities for students. I think my time there has prepared me for my next steps as a college student. I'm not sure what I would change. Our district provided me with good experiences to choose great friends, coursework, sports and other activities.

everyone teacher i had was great except one. personally had a great experience, the parking lot after school is pretty messy. they should definitely use the other gate to let people out, who cares what the old people in the neighborhood say that's what you get living next to a school. high school probably needs renovations within 10 years

I had a great time at Blackhawk High School, social wise. I made friends that i hope to stay in touch with for the rest of my life. But academics were not as good. Don't get me wrong most of the teachers were amazing and helpful and nice, but i wish we would have learned more things to prepare you for the real world. like bank situations, communications for college, etc. Also the science department is terrible. Needs a new science department so bad. Almost all of the science teachers were rude and talked to you like you were stupid if you didn't understand.
