My experiences at Cranbrook allowed me to flourish as a person. They honed many of my interpersonal and academic skills, and overall, it was an experience I wouldn't trade for the world. The faculty was understanding and welcoming, and though it wasn't perfect, the students' qualms or concerns were always considered. The landscape and resources make Cranbrook unique and a place where students can thrive.

Reflecting on it, there is not a week that goes by where I don't feel an immense sense of gratitude for my experience at Cranbrook, looking back at my experience there from PreK-12th grade. Whether that's grabbing dinner with other alumni friends living in NYC and walking through memories, or coming back home and the first stop being a walk at Cranbrook, the impact it had on me is always with me. I am a third generation Cranbrook student, so let's just say I learned about Cranbrook before learning my ABCs :) There truly is nothing like it anywhere else, from the 300+ acre campus to the most intricately designed historic Saarinen chairs we sat in every day eating lunch, it was amazing.

I know that the community that Cranbrook has created will always be will be there no matter where I go. I was involved with the dormitory a lot. My sophomore year I was a part of the residential house counsel which planned events for students to partake in. While in my Senior Year, I became a residential advisor, helped new students move in. and solve any problems that arose. Although there is high academic expectations in the school, cranes fly together no matter what gpa you have.

Marylin Roche is the absolute worst teacher i have ever encountered to students. Ive heard her be very rude to during zoom meetings, she does not respond to emails, she does not post all of the assignments for students working from home due to covid. This school has the most unprofessional admissions process I’ve ever encountered on any school at any level. We were completely ignored. Phone calls, messages and emails that didn’t get a response. Crankbrook challenges the student to not just learn facts but challenges to understand how and why. Teachers work very hard to help the student learn. My grandson loves not only the school, but the excellent food they are served.
