GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Davis County High School does it's best with the resources it has. However it has a lack of good teachers most of them are really just there for whatever sport they're coaching. The sports are also prioritized over education. When given funding the school always chooses to build or buy new equipment for various teams. This wouldn't be such a problem but this funding often has better things it could and should be used for to help the education of students.

As a currently junior, I have loved going to Davis County my whole life. We have an amazing community and teachers that will always be there to support you. They have all put in effort to further my learning career and help me decide on what I want to do after high school. The only complaint that I have is that I wish they helped more with actual life management skills like taxes, insurance, and so forth.

Davis County has always been amazing at hiring the best teachers that you can really connect with as well as really educated teachers. The classroom environment is really well done and the staff are amazing at helping students with whatever they need. The only problem about Davis County is how some students can act and aren't always punished for all the actions that they deserve to be treated for.
