Bloomington south is a good place overall. The teachers are nice but don't always understand how to help you. The guidance counselors aren't very good and do not prepare you for college. I personally had a bad experience where he had told me things to take that I didn't need to where it then came to me having to take a class senior year that I didn't think I'd have to take. I wanted academic honors and because of things that happened I not have to go for core 40.

Good school, great teachers although there are ups and downs, but I still had good friends and a good time over the 4 years I was here.

a bit elitist if I were to be completely honest, especially in the honors program. I suspect this comes from the fact that it is a college town. Regardless, the teachers genuinely care about the students and seek to teach for the student, not for the test.
