i hated attending blue valley north. got bullied so badly that I had to drop out. administration was aware and did nothing. dropping out was my very last option. I had a full ride scholarship to MU. but my emotional and physical safety were both an extreme concern. not from strangers, but from other students. they didn't allow me to transfer schools. my warning— if you're not privileged & neurotypical you will be bullied. the administration does not care about you unless your parents are contributing money into the school. if you're a normal, down to earth human-being, I beg you to think twice before sending your kids to BVN. I do not believe that BVN should be listed as the number one public high school in Kansas. I think it belongs in the lower tiers. It just shows you how much money can talk. PS— I was class of 2018. But I have a coworker who is a senior this year (2025) and bullying is still a very serious problem. nothing has changed for over seven years, think about that.

My favorite part of Blue Valley North High School was the theatre spaces. I was able to do lighting over fourteen productions in four years in two spaces so I was able to gain a lot of experience. I enjoyed being trusted to do plays, musicals, and other performing arts events and it is something that I would like to keep doing in the future. It's something that most people know absolutely nothing about so it feels really cool to have this obscure piece of intelligence.

I think Blue Valley North is a great place for learning and the teachers are willing to help you out whether it is for their specific class or college readiness. The administrators are great and overall the education is great.

Wow, this school is amazing! Everyone here is so nice, and there are NOT cliques, unless you count loosely tied friend groups that can't wait to mingle with new students. The kids who only want social admiration do not fit in here. The meanest student I have met in my 7 months here is- wait, I haven...

My family and I moved into Blue Valley from out of state. My parents knew the value of getting into the best schools and being around success and we weren't made of money! I went to BVN without trendy clothes or fancy cars and I had the ABSOLUTE BEST high school experience. The teachers were incredi...
