Best thing was thing was the schools avid program and how much the school was focused on being a avid school.

I was not treated very well at this school. I was bullied countless times and the teachers did nothing about it. To make matters worse, some teachers bought into the bullying and joined in with the students. At the same time I was never encouraged to discover who I truly was at this school nor was I given proper help to do so by the teachers. I was beat up many times and the people who did so didn't receive more than 2 days of ISS, and I was even attacked in a bathroom stall and dry humped and those students only got one day of ISS. Needless to say, I did not have a good time at this school. I never found my place in life through that school.

The safety is pretty good. We've never had any intruders but we're always away of our surroundings.

This teacher who’s last name is Easterling has been saying and going after my family member’s class and saying that they won’t have “snack” which is crazy because our students are paying whoever with this money for the snacks provided by the school. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD GO HERE. The kids kiss each other in the hallway and rub up on each other there are fights about every month or so. Blythewood Middle School offers excellent academics and a supportive community, making it an ideal choice for parents seeking a great education for their child. We've been a part of the BMS family for 3 years and would recommend this school over and over again.
