Best part about Boerne High School was the FFA club and welding classes. The worst part about Boerne High School was the regular subjects.

Boerne High School was a great school and prepared me for a future in higher education. Students were often required ti give presentations in front of the class starting since freshman year and I believe this helped me with my confidence in public speaking. I would like to see the sports other than football get more attention and better coaches, but other than that nothing should change.

The opportunities at BHS are amazing, with multiple AP and dual credit options, as well as a great CTE program that help kids experience what they are interested in before college. The academics and teachers are great, however the only downside is the high expectation culture of the school and the very small town bubble of the school, where if you aren't smart enough or from Boerne to begin with it is hard to fit in. This isn't always the case, and many students are very nice, but some experiences are better. Overall I don't regret going to Boerne HS and am grateful for the opportunities and experiences i had there.

My child is special needs, but is not part of a contained classroom. He's had some wonderful teachers and an amazing case worker. My daughter is in her senior year at Boerne Samuel V. Champion High School. Champion is a Blue Ribbon School with 96% attendance and very high academic scores.
