GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoyed Bourbon High very much. There are some things they could chance to make learning even more effective. Bourbon didn't have very many options for electives. The college credit courses were very limited and they only have College Algebra and College History. They also need to find better teachers. Most teachers knew a little about what they were talking about but if you needed a question answered the teacher wouldn't know. They would either have to ask someone else about it or look it up online. It's hard to learn from a teacher that has the same background knowledge on the subject as you.

I love that it is a small town school and I know everyone in my class. The downfalls are that not everyone is proud of the school like myself.
