The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Bourbon High School is a very easy school to attend. The staff is good, some are better than others with how they teach. But the building itself needs a lot of work done to it. We need to have better sports, we don't have football or wrestling. The food is not the best, I would usually bring my lunch to school everyday.

I enjoyed Bourbon High very much. There are some things they could chance to make learning even more effective. Bourbon didn't have very many options for electives. The college credit courses were very limited and they only have College Algebra and College History. They also need to find better teachers. Most teachers knew a little about what they were talking about but if you needed a question answered the teacher wouldn't know. They would either have to ask someone else about it or look it up online. It's hard to learn from a teacher that has the same background knowledge on the subject as you.

My favorite club is Beta. Beta provides ways for students to travel, meet new people, strive for academic success, compete in skilled test & contest, and have fun.
Many of the teachers are not willing to explain how to do certain subjects, mainly due to the fact they do not know how to do it themselves. From elementary to high school as the years go by, the teachers get worse and less caring. The food that the school serves is awful; the milks are usually expi...
