Gatton Academy is a great opportunity for high achieving students in Kentucky to enroll in college classes their junior and senior year of high school. By the time I graduate I will have taken over 60 college hours for free and will graduate with an associates degree. I, however, am living at WKU's campus which means I cannot participate in any KHSAA sports. This is a sacrifice, but one I was willing to make. If I would change one thing about Gatton it would be some of their STEM requirements to fit more of my needs and interests.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the two year college immersive experience offered by the Gatton Academy, however with such a focus on math and science, the arts could be greater encouraged.

I think that it's overall a great academy to grow a lot more as an adult and in so, getting to explore who you are and what you're going to do later on in life. Gatton gives you that exposure that everyone should get.
