I think it's a pretty average school. I would like it to get more funding, though, so that more students can have better opportunities.

Oxbow is a small high school, which allows students to work with teachers from a young age right through graduation. Kids in 9th grade get a better handle on the expectations early because they have teachers who work with all grades from 9th to 12th. Oxbow has a strong focus on a well rounded student and highlights sports, academics and the arts and encourages students to participate in all activites. Oxbow also encourages civic duty and does a lot for the local community.

I really have no benchmark with which to compare Oxbow to, other than sitcoms and movies. Oxbow is small; less than 300 students. Oxbow is in rural VT, in a town of about 2,700. Because of it's small student population, sport's aren't that well populated or great. The teachers are probably around average; small class sizes help a lot. Redneck population is a major downside.
