At HBE students are treated like family. Administration, faculty and staff are outstanding. New extracurricular activities are introduce every year.

The staff are communicative and work with the parents for the best learning environment for their children. The school is nice in a safe location and close to the neighborhood we live in. This school feeds into the highly rated NWR middle and then high school.

My son attended for part of a semester before he was able to switch to a different RCSD school. I found Highland Bluff to be entirely too focused on testing to the point where kids were barely getting a recess period.
