GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really do enjoy Bridge City High School but I feel like the there are several ways they could make the school better and more enjoyable for students

the best part about my time in bridge city is the extracurricular activities The ones that I do are band and powerlifting. the coaches and directors of these organizations are truly amazing and wonderful people. While the lesser parts of my experience have been almost everything else. these haven't truly been horrible experiences but minor inconveniences that have deterred me from certain classes and activities.

The experience has been interesting to say the least. Most of the teachers are very nice and good at their job. The thing that I would like to see changed is reimplementing lockers. Us of the students who are organized have extremely heavy backpacks weighing up to 30 pounds. We should get lockers so we don't get back or shoulder pain from carrying that weight all day long, 5 days a week.

No black educators, maybe one. Racism and bullying run rampant and crimes go unreported. It's an unsafe environment for African American and biracial students. Discrimination as well as negligence are common for children with special needs or children of color. Very cliquey like one reviewer said an...

They are very cliquey. If your family has not been here for years or your child does not have an exceptional talent it will be hard for family. They do not let people in and they will make sure you feel it. Over the year that we have been here I've seen it with several times and have talked to a few...

Bridge City has great teachers and coaches. The teachers care and they also trust the students to be mature and let their parent know when somethings wrong. If their grades improve, they don't call parents. The one bad thing about BC is it is so small and there is a lot of drama and backstabbing. Se...
