Classical Studies Magnet Academy is a dual campus elementary and middle school located in the West End-West Side neighborhood of Bridgeport. Its Beechwood Avenue campus houses students in prekindergarten through second grade while its Linwood Avenue campus is home to the school’s third through eighth grade students.
The Academy utilizes a project-based curriculum that builds upon core subjects and culminates in a final project or performance at the end of each learning unit. With hands-on instruction shaped around a classical education model, the school meets nation-wide expectations regarding reading proficiency and literacy standards. The school has also received awards from the Connecticut State Department of Education as a School of Distinction in 2013 and a School of Excellence in 2016.
Admission to the Academy, as with most magnet schools, is through a lottery system. Enrollment is highly coveted among members of the Bridgeport community and the school currently serves roughly 450 students. While the school's student-to-teacher ratio remains higher than the state average, the school is ranked as one of the top elementary schools in the Bridgeport area.
The two buildings that make up Classical Studies Magnet School remain separated by approximately half a mile. However, the school stands united in its mission to embrace diversity, provide social and emotional support and to encourage academic excellence among all students.

If A teacher don't like A parent they will set your kid up to fail. Drill team only chose friends and family " No room for outsiders" was what was said. Principal should look into this.
