GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

John Battle has been a great school to me. They are always willing to accommodate anything I need and help me grow not only as a person but with my career dreams.

Ever since I was little I couldn't wait to go there but now that I am a senior it is sad to come to the realization that I won't be able to go to the school where all the teachers are nice and everybody is super helpful.

The best part about my John S. Battle High School experience is the relationships I have created with classmates, faculty, and staff. The worst part about my John S. Battle High School experience is the lack of funding for certain areas, which means a lack of opportunities. I would like to see more effort and interest be put into several programs.

Absolute terrible, would never send a child of mine nor my worst enemy to this location. If you move in this area please consider, PLEASE CONSIDER sending your children elsewhere. I literally despise that entire building and every molecule it houses.

I have dealt with the county school system, the Bristol city VA schools and the Bristol TN city schools with being a mother of five children. All three systems have their good points,...

I hope when my grandson is older that they will do away with a lot of teachers in this school if not he will attend a...
