I've noticed that we can't keep a principal to save our life. The small classroom size does help with more one on one learning, we also have a variety of extra curriculars or at least as many as we can afford and provide.

Being a relatively small school, it is easy too keep in touch with all the students and know what their personal struggles are. No one sneaks under the radar. We don't have a problem with bullying. We have a resource officer that comes in once a week and hangs out with the kids and answers questions and takes care of any problems we may have. I feel may school is fairly safe.
