When I attended the school there were security cameras at all the entrances and the main monitor was in the main office. The school nurse was great she'd let you lay down if you didn't feel well, had pads just incase you got your period, and had medicine for headaches. If you needed it she would make you call your mother to ask for permission. There were not any school police when I attended but there could be some there now. Overall I feel it was a safe school.

The teachers build the type of relationship with you that if you see them in 5-10 years they will still be happy to see you and remember your name. The teachers really care about the students so if you're crying and they see you, you won't be ignored. The teaching styles are at a normal pace and they'll slow down if you need them to. The material was very helpful when i moved up to middle school. The grading was simple if you did your work you were an honor roll student and if you didn't pay attention and didn't do your work you did poorly. The teachers talk to you and make sure you understand your work and if you don't they explain it further so you can.

My son is currently in third grade but this will be the last year at this school. He has ADHD and his teachers are aware of this with his paperwork. When he gets distracted or frustrated instead of redirecting him they let him wander away from the rest of the class. The teacher is a new replacement...

My 6 year old kindergarten daughter was penalized for not doing her because she didn't understand what was being done. Instead of the teacher helper actually helping her, my daughter was sent to another classroom and put in the timeout chair in the back of the classroom with the work she wasn't doin...
