I have been with this school since 7th grade and on my way to graduating in 12th. It has been a good experience as this school focuses on community and getting as many opportunities to be ready for the real world. We definitely learn as a school together and we feel connected. The most I like about this school is that's it has lots of sports and clubs.

My experience here wasn't really the best. I didn't feel academically challenged at this school. Also the area around is very unsafe and nasty. You have people smoking weed and women with their breasts out just walking causally. A student even got assaulted and robbed. There has been lockdowns because students have had possession of weapons. Although there are a lot of bad things their are some teachers who do care about their student like Mr. Rowe. The food is terrible I only eat it so I don't pass out from hunger.

I have been at Hyde since I was about 5 and I love everything about it. I love the school culture, the atmosphere and the staff that help me become a better student. Hyde pushes you academically and mentally to help you become ready for the real world.

I've been a Hyde parent for 6 years. Like all NY city schools Hyde has had it's struggles but it remains the one and only choice for my children and their education. It's an excellent school and the teachers are very dedicated. I'm a proud parent and my children are blessed to have so many people in...
