GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience here at Marble Hill has been overall a great experience. From Freshman year to senior year I can say that marble hill has done a great job is preparing me for life after high school in terms of support in colleges and exploration in career paths. The school hosts a Career day annually where alum and other people in many different professions come to the school to speak to students about how they got to where they were and what motivated them to do so.

My overall experience with Marble Hill High School is adequate. They prioritize education a lot and make sure all the students have their requirements for high school complete. They also have support systems like tutoring and Saturday Academy for students. The teachers are kind and understanding always ready to help when you need them. They have a unique schedule that is both good and bad since we can go home early on Wednesdays but also have 2 longer school days. One of the best parts is Wednesdays since we have elective classes and can be more relaxed. One of the things I would like to change is the food. I want high schools including mine to have better food options and fresh food options.

Being a student at Marble Hill is an okay experience. There are a lot of academic opportunities presented to you like doing pre-college courses at colleges or doing community service. For being a school with international in its name, you'd think there is a diverse community of people but that's not the case as there is a majority of Hispanics and a few Blacks. This makes the school and its functions mostly Hispanic-related.

I am a graduate of '11 and I believe this is a wonderful school. Yes, there are a lot of projects and strict dress code, but students were informed of this the day of their interview and agreed to the terms so they should not be complaining. There are also those students that claim they hate this sc...
