My experience at this school was enlightening. I started thinking about my future and what I had to start doing in order to achieve my life goals. The school prepared me for High School but more so, college. The instructors emphasize critical thinking skill. They reward students who are doing great academically and in terms of behavior. As a whole, the school is amazing.

The people they are amazing but not so much the students they say a lot of bad words and get way with it they have drugs.

I love this school, My college freshman graduated from this school and now my two young ones attend also. I currently use ENGRADE to communicate with teachers , which i highly recommend. You are able to view your child's grades, attendance and feedback by emails. School saftey knows the children by...

I appreciate the staff and faculty of P.S. 279. My daughter is in 7th grade and her teachers are thorough and include me in every step of her education.
