Best part is the relationships you make and how easy it is to see your friends. You're able to learn how to live on your own and room with another person. The worst part is some of the administrators and the amount of stress that you're not prepared for. I'd like to see change in out-dated rules and for better snacks or facilities. Also for the visual art students to have a space to paint outside of classes.

I like how caring the student body is. What I wish I could change is the staff. They are biased against students who are people of color or transgender unless they have favorites because of their talent. The student body is very supportive, but the one in charge does not do a good job. She puts her work on other staff members and isn't there half the time. They also didn't punish the school nurse for malpractice and violating HIPPA rules. It feels like only the students care.

msa is an excellent place for learning, growing artistically, and getting ready for college. the teachers and staff are amazing and always helpful.

Unbelievable that we have access to something like this in MS! If your children are gifted artistically in any way, they need to be there. The atmosphere is so supportive and positive. My years at MSA were the absolute best. Not only did I get to spend time studying the craft that I loved and getting a quality education, but MSA truly helped prepare me for life after highschool. I owe so much of my success to this school. I would not be the person I am today without MSA.
