The academics are great, but many of the teachers grade unfairly/dont care to give students the benefit of the doubt. Also some of the sports teams are neglected.

The school is very focused on sports and allows that focus to guide the principles and priorities of the school. Bullying is tolerated and so is bad behavior in classes. Top athletes are admitted despite their unwillingness to behave appropriately and participate academically. The bullying is incessant and severe and the culture is permissive of this behavior. There is a strong breakdown in the culture and the aim for acceptance and inclusiveness.

I have had a great experience at Dexter Southfield. Although some of my teachers, I feel, have not been fit for their position at Dexter Southfield, I feel prepared for the college experience after attendance.

Great school. My son is learning better study habits and organization. Teachers are great and very approachable. Great communication. Good bunch of new friends on and off the field, Dexter is Great!

School develops students with great foundations in academics and athletics. Great facilities and campus.

The food got continously worse to the point where for lunch, we would have salad. The teachers don't pay attention to homework, are childish, and don't undersand what they teach to the students.
