i had a wonderful experience at this school. i felt like i could be myself and the kids were friendly and welcoming. i was able to pursue my interests with supportive, yet challenging instructors and i never felt judged or belittled. even after covid hit, and i had a lot of trouble socially, my teachers looked out for me, and above all else, treated me like a human. i wont ever forget the kindness that students and teachers alike showed me here.

My son is graduating this coming June. There were a few not so great teachers, but my son and we (parents) had wonderful experience over all. Academic is strong and the school offers really great art programs. All of my son's friends are accepted for their first choice high schools. Kudo to teachers at students and teachers at 51.

I used to attend MS.51 and as a sophmore in college I can look back and say that middle school was a wonderful time in my life because of all the friends I made and the lessons I learned and a lot of that has to do with this school. I learned techniques that I still use and I learned how to socialize and I also met wonderful teachers who really wanted to help students succeed.

I used to be a student at this shook and I hated it. The teachers were mostly bad and some were really nice. The students around me were so rude and harmful. They would always bully and hurt other students around me and others. The new principal, Mr. Chan or chen is bad, I have realized myself that...

Terrible school. Hated it so much needed to transfer. At much better school now. Teachers are mean and unqualified. Not a good environment for students. Uninvolved staff. Not an ounce of care or compassion

I want to say that it's a great school and kids get to learn. I like my teachers. But the hallway doesn't feel safe sometimes kids push and shove and they say mean things. I know some people who were bullied and nothing happened. No one cares enough to do something. You can say something and nothing...

My son is in 6th grade here and we have been very happy with the school so far. The academics are strong, and Principal Chan and his admin work very hard for the kids. The location is a huge plus, as the kids have access to the park next door. I was skeptical after all the transitions MS 51 has been...
