I've been at Poly since 6th grade. I think it is a great school, with good teachers/academics and good sports. I think in the past Poly has put more emphasis on their sports teams/gaining notoriety in that regard and not their academics and are now trying to play catch up. They also obviously have been involved in so many scandals, both racial and gender-based, but they are trying to move forward in the right direction now.

I have been at Poly for 3 years, and the community has really made me feel comfortable. The amount of classes is incredible, there is so much to chose from.

Poly has been a fantastic experience for both my kids (currently in elementary school). The teachers are very caring and go out of their way to ensure every kid is given the best opportunity to succeed. The school truly values raising strong individuals with good character and places as much emphasis on their social-emotional development as they do on their academic development.

Poly Prep has been a complete disappointment. Teachers assign a large quantity of work, but most do minimal instruction. There are far too many "work periods" and not enough teaching. Having students work in groups on a packet or on a simple project during class time is not teaching. Assignments are...

I went here and send my kids here. things did not change much, except the school became much more radical. even have a communist club.

We were very excited to be part of the school but it was a complete disaster from literally the first day when the bus he was supposed to take did not stop at the place where they told us it would.
