Located on Pierrepont and Clinton Streets, Saint Ann’s School is a noted and prestigious pre-kindergarten through 12th grade private school in Brooklyn Heights. With approximately 1000 students, this tight-knit independent non-sectarian day school is regarded as one of the country’s best schools - in particular at the high school level.
Founded in 1965, this school currently boasts a 7:1 student to teacher ratio with 375 faculty. Saint Ann's is truly a special place with fantastic teachers that promote learning for the sake of learning and not solely to beat others or get good grades. While the political/social environment at Saint Ann's can be a bit hostile at times, I wouldn't have chosen any other place to attend high school.

As a student, I like that both academics and arts are important at Saint Anns. Most of the teachers are good, but not all of them. Not very much homework is given, as a middle school student on average I get around 45 min-1 hr of homework on a school night.
