I’ve lived long enough to know when something’s just not right, and what happened at Monroe wasn’t. Someone made a racist comment toward my grandson, and his teacher didn’t say a word. Just let it slide like it didn’t matter. I’m not one to stir trouble, but I do believe in standing up for our kids....
