Buena Park High School is overall a great school to attend. Most students get along with teachers, and the teachers are very understanding and easy to reach. To me, it feels almost like a big family during big games or events where everybody is showing school spirit. Of course there have been some bad days, but I know that I have resources and help on campus when I need it.

The students and staff are very welcoming. Buena Park High School is very diverse. Staff and teachers are always around to help students out with anything. The school makes me feel comfortable. They make sure you are doing okay academically and mentally.

My experience at this high school was amazing despite being the new girl in a new city and school my freshman year I found myself easily connected with my teachers in this high school despite my first year being on zoom. Teachers are far more concern with the mental health of their students which was really nice to see. I lost my dad during my jr year and still took AP classes the teachers at this campus motivated me by letting me have more days to study on my tests and understanding my situation. The programs this school provided me were also very beneficial exposing me to many schools and learning more about what college is going to be like as first gen student in a Hispanic household. At many times I found myself struggling to keep up with my grades and the environment I was in allowed me to keep pushing forward along with the people I met. This school guided me towards my future field psychology which I wouldn't have found anywhere else after everything I experienced in my 4 years.

Here at BPHS, there's a place for everyone and as a someone who just transferred to this area as an incoming freshman, I am prospering and fitting in well with what BPHS has to offer.

This school is a surprising gem of a high school. The teachers have been very responsive and committed to the success of their students.
