The sense of community at BVHS is pretty great. Of course there will always be cliques and silly things like that, but you tend to get to know everyone pretty well throughout your time there. However, BVHS is really big on athletics and because of that, the arts tend to be pushed to the side. In the future I'd like to see the arts programs be given more of an emphasis and eventually appreciated more.

Buena Vista High School is a great school, with lots of great teachers and courses. There is however very little diversity here. Its probably about a about 95% white population. Other than that the school rocks. Sports are definitely a strong driving force, but clubs are a little under appreciated. I wish there were more types of clubs though. There's really only about 5 main ones and 2 of those are for sports.

Our school ignore than just a school. We are a family. Out communtiy is small allowing everyone to know what's going on. We are all connected. I believe that isn't found in other places. If I had the chance I would do it again.

This school is a great place to gain your education. The teachers are all very supportive of the students and will go the extra mile to help you in any way.
